This course in an intro to Tait’s forthcoming class entitled Intro to Automated Rigging. The goals are to give participants a working understanding of the components, common verbiage, and industry best practices around automated machinery. At the conclusion of this course participants will be able to look at a piece of automated machinery and understand what equipment it does or does not have on it, and as a result, whether or not it is appropriate for the job at hand. Further, they will be able to know how to be safe around said machine, while ensuring the artistic intent of the show is maintained.
