This class provides the necessary training so that each trainee fully understands the responsibilities associated with the safe operation of the aerial lift. For participants to pass this course, they must show proficiency in product hands-on and achieve 100% on the classroom exam. This class includes a classroom section with presentation, discussion, video, and a written test that is followed by pre-operation inspections and individual practical appointments conducted on boom lifts and scissor lifts. The classroom section focuses on:

• Responsibility

• Tip Over Hazards

• Fall Hazards

• Collision Hazards

• Electrocution Hazards

• Operation

Each participant performs a function test prior to operation during the practical exercise. This class stresses safety throughout and exceeds OSHA training program criteria.
