Analog Way is a manufacturer of scalers/presentation switchers and they train mainly on mid-range switchers (Pulse, QuickVus, Eikos, Saphyr, etc.) and High-End switchers (Ascender32, 48, etc.). They offer free group training on their equipment. Local Union Officers wanting to set up training should contact Alessandro at Analog Way for more details. Please make sure to include your local, city and state in your message as trainings may not be available in all geographic areas.
Training classes include: Theatrical Hair, Make Up Production, and Wig Ventilation.
Forklift Safety Course, Aerial Working Platform Safety Course
K34 Industries LLC is a company that prides itself on spreading safety knowledge to those who operate and work around forklifts and aerial lifts that are used extensively in the entertainment industry. Owned and operated by an IATSE member, K34 Industries LLC safety training promotes safe working practices. Each course promotes safe operating procedures and follows the OSHA standards and regulations (1910.178 & 1926.453).
Courses are $1,750 each for class sizes up to 20 attendees. Additional costs may apply for expenses, travel, and additional attendees.

The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses in this program teach skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. This program offers a choice of first aid, CPR and AED courses to meet the various training needs of a diverse audience.
All training classes include the following:

Full Service - An American Red Cross Instructor comes to your facility to train your employees on the date and at the time you select.
The cost for up to 8 people to be trained in Adult CPR/AED is $810, each additional person costs $70. This is a 3 hour training. There is also minimum of 8 people for all on-site training. Contact Janet Johnson at the Red Cross to schedule your on-site group training.
