Rigging Rescue in Burbank, CA | Local 33

Participants will gain basic understanding of fall protection equipment and its proper use, safe climbing techniques and high angle rescue techniques. Our interactive approach allows individuals to practice these new techniques in their work environment. This introductory course allows you and your staff to learn the fall protection fundamentals that apply to your particular job description and to practice these techniques in real life situations.

Students will have an awareness level of training in regards to rescue from structures at heights while using fall protection equipment. Students will know the specific regulations and proper use of all equipment specific to the rescue plan for this building and each site within.

  • Anchors, rigging considerations and techniques

  • Connectors, and Harnesses

  • Applicable Regulations & Standards

  • Rescue equipment and considerations when starting a job

  • Basic knowledge of post rescue situations specific to being suspended in a harness
