What Is a Signatory Employer?

TTF Signatory Employers are signatories to a Collective Bargaining Agreement (“CBA”) between the IATSE or one of its affiliate local unions that obligates them to make contributions to the IATSE Entertainment and Exhibition Industries Training Trust Fund.

Training Tracker

The Training Tracker is a web-based, searchable database, so you can search through your local workforce's training records at your convenience.

  • Keep track of safety and craft skills training taken by IATSE workers

  • Run reports to see who's taken a specific course or all the courses an individual has taken

  • See which industry-approved certifications your local workforce has

The training records included in the Training Tracker are for courses taken directly through the TTF and its programs (not including courses taken by individuals on the external platforms of LinkedIn Learning and AVIXA), courses taken through an IATSE local that were supported by the TTF, and individual certifications that have been reimbursed by the TTF. The Training Tracker also includes training records for group courses offered by an IATSE local that have been submitted to the TTF.

How Do Employers Access the Training Tracker?

  1. Fill out the form below to request employer access.

  2. We will email you a username and password.

  3. Use your new credentials to log in to the Training Tracker.

  4. You can search information by course to see IATSE workers who have taken that particular course or search by an individual to see classes taken by a given worker.

Employers and productions can access the course information of locals. If you don’t know the local in the jurisdiction you want to search, use the Local Union Directory or contact us for assistance.

Borrow Our OSHA Trainer

We'll provide an OSHA Outreach Trainer to facilitate instruction of an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry with Focus on the Entertainment Industry class or an OSHA 10-Hour Construction with Focus on the Entertainment Industry class for IATSE workers. We cover the cost of the trainer’s travel, lodging, and meals. Other costs incurred during the implementation of this course, including space, equipment, and meals for the students while in class, are the responsibility of the employer.

Classes span two days, with each day scheduled for eight hours, including instruction time, breaks, and a one-hour lunch break. Classes are limited to 40 students per OSHA regulations.

We expect the employer to be actively involved in the course implementation process, and you'll be responsible for all course logistics including securing a training space and equipment, course outreach to all potential TTF Beneficiaries (active IATSE members and those working under the IATSE agreements), and distributing and processing course applications.

WHAT TOPICS ARE COVERED IN THE TRAINING?

The purpose of the OSHA Outreach Training Program is to teach workers about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to recognize, abate, and prevent job-related hazards. OSHA Outreach Training Program training does not meet the training requirements contained in any OSHA standard. Some states and local jurisdictions have enacted legislation mandating OSHA Outreach Training Program training, and some employers and unions require workers to have this training to work on job sites or to fulfill their own safety training goals.
