  2. Download your completion certificate

  3. Upload documentation through ETCP

  4. Track credits in your ETCP account

  5. Apply for recertification when eligible


How many credits are courses worth?

According to ESTA, courses count as 1 point per hour of attendance. Renewal credits are offered in half (.5) units, based on 30 minutes of contact time rounded to the nearest 30 minutes.

For example:

  • 35 minutes = .5 Renewal Credit

  • 45 minutes = 1 Renewal Credit

  • 1 hour and 40 minutes = 1.5 Renewal Credits

The estimated renewal credits are listed only as a guide. ETCP makes the final determination.

How do I submit course completions for credit?

ETCP allows you to log your credits along the way, so you can submit courses as soon as you finish them, and the ETCP Team will add them to your file.

Download your completion certificate from the TTF Courses & Resources Learning Portal, then upload this as verification.

How do I apply for Certification Reimbursement?

IATSE workers who obtain their ETCP Arena Rigger, Theater Rigger, Entertainment Electrician, or Portable Power Distribution Technician Certifications may qualify for reimbursement of ETCP certification costs.
