IATSE TTF Beneficiaries
Who can participate in IATSE Training Trust Fund programs?
The IATSE Training Trust Fund was created to advance the skills and safety of IATSE workers. To be eligible for IATSE Training Trust Fund programs, an individual must be:
an active IATSE member, or
working in a craft or classification represented by the IATSE and working under an IATSE agreement
The IATSE TTF is a joint labor management fund governed by the Department of Labor and ERISA, which means that we have to abide by strict guidelines regarding who is eligible to participate in our programs and what kind of programs we can offer. It also means that we are required to ask individuals and locals to complete certain paperwork to satisfy those ERISA and DOL requirements.
How do we determine elegibility?
When you apply for an IATSE TTF program, we conduct an eligibility check to determine whether you are eligible to participate as a TTF Beneficiary.
Some courses may have specific prerequisites which must be met for admission.
We search for your record in the IATSE Membership Database
We email your local union and ask them to confirm eligibility
