Setting up and testing a lighting control system used to be pretty simple, and it’s increasingly becoming more digital and networked. If you’re going to have a future in this industry, then you need to know how to set up, test, and troubleshoot DMX, Ethernet and Ethernet-based systems, use RDM to quickly and remotely configure and monitor your equipment, as well as program and run the lighting from a console or computer running lighting control software. This course covers all of those bases from bottom to top with an emphasis in hands-on activities and learning. Attendees should bring a laptop with lighting control software for class activities.
