OSHA 10/General Entertainment Safety © was developed by the IATSE Entertainment & Exhibition Industries Training Trust Fund. The OSHA 10-hour course is customized for and uses examples from the Entertainment Industry. Upon completion, students receive OSHA 10 completion cards.
This two-day training covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles. Topics include scope and application of the OSHA general industry standards as related to the Entertainment Industry. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide.
This course is worth 10 points towards your ETCP renewal credits.

OSHA OUTREACH TRAINER: Bill McCord, IATSE TTF Training Specialist, has a Masters in Cinema Studies from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Technical Theatre from the North Carolina School of the Arts. He has over 25 years of film production experience on movies, television shows, music videos, and commercials throughout the US. He has held positions as Business Agent and Assistant Business Agent for IATSE Local 478; film production, cinema studies, and technical theatre professor at the North Carolina School of the Arts; Executive Director of Production for the Home Shopping Network; and Production Manager at Hanesbrands Theatre in Winston-Salem, NC. Bill became an OSHA Outreach Trainer in 2013, and he helped develop the IATSE TTF OSHA 10/GES course with the ICAP.
