Train-the-Trainer Workshop in New York is a Huge Success

Twenty people from Locals 1, 311, 329, 481, 764 and 798 attended the first TTF Train the Trainer workshop this past weekend (February 28 and March 1, 2015).  Local 764 hosted the event, which consisted of two full days of interactive sessions that taught both new and experienced trainers effective teaching techniques.

Trainers learned how to write lessons plans, how to present material so that it is clearly understood, how to engage students and set objectives for their training classes.  Trainers who were new to training as well as seasoned trainers learned new techniques that will help them when they plan and conduct trainings.

The IATSE Training Trust Fund thanks everyone who participated in the weekend and thanks Local 764 for hosting the weekend!

The next Train-the-Trainer session is being held in Atlanta on April 25 & 26, 2015.
