Advanced Corporate AV
This course focuses on the real-world use of advanced AV systems in corporate event settings. Building on the “Intro to Corporate AV” class, it covers the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of audio and video systems for medium to large breakout rooms. Students will also learn best practices for cable management, client interaction, and operator roles in a professional environment.
The course promotes safety through hands-on exercises in proper cable management, load-in/load-out procedures, and safe handling of AV equipment. It sharpens craft skills by teaching advanced troubleshooting, equipment programming, and client-focused communication which is essential for delivering seamless, professional events.
Overview of advanced AV systems and equipment
Audio system setup, signal flow, and programming
Video system setup, signal flow, and multi-display management
Hands-on AV system operation and troubleshooting

Trent Corona brings six years of professional experience in the audiovisual industry, along with four years of studying technical theater with a focus on audio. He’s completed numerous audio-related certifications, including AVIXA, DANTE, Shure wireless, and QSC TouchMix training. He travels nationwide, working with multiple production companies to set up, program, and operate AV systems of all sizes—from breakout rooms and general sessions to large-scale festivals and corporate events.
