Find the Online Training That's Right for You

We believe online training can be a great way for IATSE workers to easily access programs remotely with the flexibility to meet their busy schedules. We entered into partnerships with select organizations that understand the needs of the various crafts of the IATSE and designed our programs with help from IATSE subject matter experts. These programs all require separate accounts with unique credentials. We hope this guide will help you find the online training that’s right for you.

Whether you work at video village, at the box office, up on the catwalk, or down at the loading dock, you may encounter unique risks and hazards as you go about your trade. Whatever you do and wherever you do it, you have a right to a safe work environment. We developed the TTF Safety First! curriculum just for IATSE workers. Each course presents information, tools, and best practices that can help you spot dangers and minimize risks at the workplace. We included stories and case studies shared by workers in the various crafts to help give you a first-hand account of the importance of safety.

The 18 courses include Introduction to Basic Entertainment Safety; Biological Hazards; Hazard Communication: Workplace Chemicals; Chemical Protection; Electrical Safety; Fall Prevention and Protection; Elevated Work Platforms & Aerial Lifts; Scaffold Safety; Ergonomics; Noise Exposure; Confined Space/Small Space Awareness; Firearms Safety; Hand and Portable Power Tools; Compressed Gases; Rigging Safety; Welding and Cutting; Hazard Identification and Safety in the Work Environment; and COVID-19: Recommended Guidelines for Preventing Exposure in the Workplace.

Our newest addition to these trainings is COVID-19: Recommended Guidelines for Preventing Exposure in the Workplace. This course can only be accessed through the TTF Safety First! training portal and is not available anywhere else. It’s designed to provide IATSE workers with information and recommended practices to minimize the spread of COVID-19 upon returning to the workplace.
