Renew Your ETCP Certification with TTF Safety First! Online Courses

ETCP-Certified Technicians need at least 10 continuing education credits to maintain their certification. With TTF Safety First! Online Courses, earning those credits is simple and convenient—right from your workplace, home, or anywhere you choose. As an ETCP Recognized Training Program, TTF Safety First! provides approved training that helps you meet your recertification requirements.

What Are the TTF Safety First! Online Courses?

TTF Safety First! is one of several training libraries available on the TTF Courses & Resources learning platform. These self-paced, online courses include practical tools and craft-specific case studies to help you identify and reduce workplace hazards. The program was approved by ESTA as an ETCP Recognized Electrical & Rigging Training Program on August 18, 2021, making eligible courses applicable toward ETCP renewal requirements.

The courses cover a wide range of critical workplace safety topics, including electrical safety, fall protection, rigging, scaffolding, ergonomics, hazard recognition, and more.

Why Does Continuing Education Matter?

You must renew your ETCP certification every five years through a 40-point system. You may submit 10–30 points through work, but 10–20 points must come from continuing education. ETCP-recognized training programs provide renewal credits based on instructional time, generally awarding one renewal credit per hour of attendance, with credits offered in half-credit increments based on 30 minutes of contact time. One of the advantages of using TTF Safety First! is that the coursework is available online and on demand, allowing you to earn credits when your schedule permits.
