DAY 1: BEGINNER LEVEL
Hand Sewing Skills
Morning Session | 3 hours
This course will teach basic hand sewing skills including the proper application of buttons, snaps, hook and eyes, and hand hemming stitches. It includes demonstration and class participation. No special equipment is required.

Basic Sewing Skills
Afternoon Session | 3 hours
- Hand hemming stitches continues - cross stitch/catch stitch 
- blind catch stitch

- Introduction to beading - row of sequins

DAY 2: INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
Machine Sewing Skills
Morning Session | 3 hours
This course will teach the skills necessary to construct a garment and the terminology used to describe these skills. It includes demonstration and class participation.
I will supply each student with handouts for each technique that will include basic instructions for completing the techniques.
- Directional Staystitching 
- Clean Finish

Machine Sewing Skills
Afternoon Session | 3 hours
This course will teach the many techniques involved in seam finishing. It includes demonstration and class participation.
I will explain the technique and its uses and conduct a complete demonstration of each. I will supply each student with handouts for each technique that will include basic instructions for completing the techniques.

DAY 3: ADVANCED LEVEL
The Perfect Placket
Morning Session | 2 hours
This course will teach a foolproof method of inserting a placket opening.
The Chiffon Hem
Afternoon Session | 2 hours
This course will teach the technique for hemming chiffon and similar sheer/lightweight fabrics.
