Makeup Artist Day Playing
Students will brush up on their knowledge or will learn what to do when they get hired as a Day Player/Additional to work in holding. Through slides, demos, and lectures, you will learn what to expect on your first day. This class will go over what should be in your kit, explain set etiquette, what being "camera ready" means, as well as grooming tools and their uses. Lastly, students will learn proper basic makeup for background actors and simple tattoo covering and men’s grooming.

Christopher Milone is an Emmy winning makeup artist working in film and TV. He has been a member of Local 798 for 15 years, an educator, and makeup history geek. He loves sharing his knowledge and stories about the industry he loves. Chris is a professional Makeup Artist based in NYC. He does beauty, editorial, commercials, film, TV, world tours, public appearances, SFX, body painting and airbrush, as well as fashion shows, theater, art exhibits, and special effects makeup.
