Borrow Our OSHA Trainer Program Expansion: Construction

We are excited to announce the expansion of our Borrow Our OSHA Trainer program to include OSHA 10-hour Construction with Focus on the Entertainment Industry training. This program provides local unions access to OSHA Authorized Trainers who can present in-person and distance learning courses at no cost to locals. The program has been a tremendous success in helping local unions provide OSHA 10-hour General Industry with Focus on the Entertainment Industry training for their workers, and we are now expanding it to meet the training needs of IATSE workers who build sets—like propmakers, carpenters, and painters—for whom OSHA Construction courses may be more appropriate than General Industry.

We believe that this expansion will make the Borrow Our OSHA Trainer program an even more valuable resource for locals. If your local needs to provide OSHA training for your workers, our OSHA Outreach Trainers can deliver either an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry with Focus on the Entertainment Industry training or an OSHA 10-Hour Construction with Focus on the Entertainment Industry training. We will ship student workbooks and OSHA completion cards at no cost to the local.

Not sure whether your local workers need OSHA General Industry or Construction training? We can help you figure that out, and this flyer answers some frequently asked questions.
