Intro to Programing
This class consists of an overview of several lighting consoles and software, like the Leprecon LM850, ADJ Operator Pro, ETC Smart Fade, ETC Color Source, Onyx, DMXIS Software, etc. Students will learn about the hardware (general buttons, faders, bump buttons, masters, crossfader), patching, and functions (looks, sequence, stacks/cues, record & edit, select section, wheels).

Franklin J. Calsbeek, Jr., made his Tucson debut working with The Invisible Theatre. From that point, he has worked with many of the Tucson Theatre and Dance Companies as designer, technical director, operating technician, and stage hand.
In Frank’s past, he was involved in education for 32 years, and holds a BA in Music Education and a Master’s in Communication Arts. He worked on a variety of Broadway shows such as "Show Boat," "South Pacific," and “Lion King”. He has been a part of the staff of the Ordway Musical Theatre and Chanhassen Dinner Theatres in Minneapolis, Minnesota and The Pantages Centre of Performing Arts in Tacoma, Washington.
Frank is presently CEO/Owner of Old Pueblo Theatrical Solutions, Inc., providing lighting, sound, video equipment, consultation, and design, along with installation and rental services for presentations and production building needs.
