Lighting Repair and Maintenance
This class reviews conventional lighting fixtures or instruments used regularly in most theaters. We will look at the functionality of three main units: the S4, S4 Pars, and Par 64. We will review the design of the fixture, how it works and operates, ways to diagnose issues, and how to fix them.

Franklin J. Calsbeek, Jr., made his Tucson debut working with The Invisible Theatre. From that point, he has worked with many of the Tucson Theatre and Dance Companies as designer, technical director, operating technician, and stage hand.
In Frank’s past, he was involved in education for 32 years, and holds a BA in Music Education and a Master’s in Communication Arts. He worked on a variety of Broadway shows such as "Show Boat," "South Pacific," and “Lion King”. He has been a part of the staff of the Ordway Musical Theatre and Chanhassen Dinner Theatres in Minneapolis, Minnesota and The Pantages Centre of Performing Arts in Tacoma, Washington.
Frank is presently CEO/Owner of Old Pueblo Theatrical Solutions, Inc., providing lighting, sound, video equipment, consultation, and design, along with installation and rental services for presentations and production building needs.
