Airbrush Basics for Props & Costumes
This class introduces students to the anatomy of an airbrush, the cleaning, care of them, and basic setup options. Students learn to use the airbrush first on paper, then on various shapes and clothing, and painting on 2D and 3D surfaces. The class specifically focuses on learning how to use an airbrush as it relates to film work, mostly in the prop and costuming departments. The class consists of a short lecture presentation, demonstration, and time for questions. Afterwards there is significant guided hands-on student application time.
